CYRUS LAMPRECHT
Cyrus is an absurdist writer and artist with relevant experience in the areas of copywriting, curating, broadcasting, graphic design and illustration. He is the author of Safran Mélancolique, earning awards and publishing work in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia and the United Kingdom. Trained in Philosophy and Art Theory at Central Saint Martins, he aspires to construct his absurdist philosophy and explore the possibility of metaphysical rebellion in the modern society through writing and art-making.
Cyrus held his first solo exhibition at the age of 20 and has continued to participate in multiple group exhibitions around the world. His most recent performance was seen at the Tate Modern (Tate Exchange). He is also the founder of Episolipsism, an art movement that meditates on Absurdism and Lebensphilosophie.
Writing is his tranquil language to communicate with the absurd society. His works vary across a wide range of concepts and disciplines, particularly in philosophy and psychoanalysis. He undergoes a creative metamorphosis time after time—on the basis of suffering and nothingness.
